Library Service
The Library contains more than 7155 volumes of text and reference books on different 2600 titles and 69 National and International Journals. The books are arranged and classified according to the Universal Decimal Classification Scheme. All the data about the books are computerized .Open access system is followed in the library. Well equipped with 612 educational CD's on science and Engineering. The total area of Library is about 411 square feet.

Each registered member will be given the following number of borrower's ticket and loan period

• CURRENT AWARENESS SERVICE
Library takes pride in serving the users and helping them to get the required information within the short span of time. Yes! It is the Current Awareness Service (CAS). Library displays job opportunities, academic related matters and our college campus events etc. some times the field of interest has been collected from the users and they are informed when the information arrives in the particular book or journal.
• REFERENCE SERVICE
Reference service is provided to users, which enables the user to reach the required information from the proper documents in time to get success in their research, project work, paper presentation etc..
• NEWS PAPER CLIPPING SERVICES
Newspaper cuttings of academic related matters, job opportunities and Velammal Institute of Technology advertisements are collected periodically and displayed on the notice board.

WORKING HOURS:
The library works from 8.00 am . to 7.00 p.m. On all working days
On Saturdays 8.00 am. to 5.00 p.m
