PUPA INCUBATION CENTRE – TWO DAY INDUCTION PROGRAMME
PROGRESS THROUGH INNOVATIVE CONCEPTS
“PUPA” Incubation Centre (Centre For Placement and All Round Personality Development) of Velammal Institute of Technology organized a Two Day Induction Programme for second year students on 31 st July and 1 st Aug “09 at their campus. The programme was carried out by INDIA TRUST.
The Chairman Thiru. M.V.Muthuramalingam welcomed the gathering and insisted that the students excel in their life and career by making use of the opportunities.
INDIA TRUST president Mr. Vijayakumar with his team of Coordinators conducted this Extensive, Comprehensive and Integrated programme covering all aspects of Conceptual and Strategic thinking, Effective Communication in English, Group Discussion, Decision making, Interpersonal Relation, Problem Solving Skills, Self Management, Character Development, Public Speaking and so on. Director Mr.M.V.M Sasikumar, Correspondent M.V.M Nagamuthu, Advisor Prof Razzack, Principal Dr. Lakshiminarayana were present for the programme.
Training
Training l is an integral part of our institution. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the Placement cell. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes.
Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus recruitment programmes. Our pioneering efforts have brone fruits in achieving academic-industrial rapport and we are proud that our students are absorbed by leading giants in the industrial firmament. The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes.
The cell is designed to function with a high degree of professionalism. It provides almost instantaneous data to the corporate sector with regard to the candidates available for consideration towards placement in accordance with the preserved requirements. Indeed, we have been appreciated more often by the industrial houses for this special feature embedded in our work philosophy.
